prevent rejection after organ transplantation.
It's worth mentioning that not all medicines derived from
bacteria are directly used in their original form. Many undergo extensive
processing, purification, and modification to ensure safety, efficacy, and the
desired therapeutic effects. Scientists continue to explore the vast potential
of bacteria for discovering novel medicines and improving existing treatments.
